The United States Army Band rehearses for the 2013 presidential inaugural ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Jan. 13, 2013.

Add Southern Co., the Atlanta-based utility company, to the list of corporate donors to President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Obama, reversing his policy of four years ago, is accepting corporate contributions to help pay for this month’s inaugural festivities. Other companies on the contribution list include AT&T Inc. and Microsoft Corp.

Also in a reversal from 2009, donation amounts will not be disclosed in advance of the required post-inaugural report to the Federal Election Commission. Nor will the employers and hometowns of individual donors be released, again unlike during Obama’s first inaugural.

Obama officially will take the oath of office in a private ceremony on Jan. 20, a Sunday, then deliver his inaugural speech and celebrate the occasion on Jan. 21.
