That’s how much U.S. household net worth rose in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Net worth rose by 1.8 percent to $66.1 trillion, according to the Federal Reserve’s flow of funds report released yesterday.

The value of real estate owned by households increased by $479 billion, the biggest jump in a three-month period since the first quarter of 2006.
