Billionaire Donald Trump says Republicans could be on a “suicide mission” if the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. are eventually allowed to vote.
“Every one of those 11 million people will be voting Democratic,” he warned those gathered at the Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington today. “You have to be very, very careful.”
The Donald also had criticism for Republican ads in the last campaign, saying they were ineffective.
He had only minor criticism for 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who he endorsed, saying the onetime private equity executive and former Massachusetts governor didn’t talk enough about his business success.
“Our country is a total and complete mess,” said Trump, who claimed President Barack Obama was able to get re-elected because of “unprecedented media protection.”
