President Barack Obama, not only a basketball fan but also a player, has picked Indiana to go all the way in the NCAA championship tournament.
Obama’s picks, revealed today on ESPN, favor the Big Ten:
Indiana, Louisville, Ohio State and Florida make the president’s FinalFfour.
Acknowledging that Louisville is “not a surprise pick” in a taped appearance on ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” the president said: “I’m going with Indiana. These are the two best teams right now… I think this is Indiana’s Year.”
This is Obama’s fifth year at bracketing from the White House. He correctly picked two Final Four teams last yer, Ohio State and Kentucky, but his championship choice, North Carolina, failed in the Elite Eight.
