Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden speak at the end of the Vital Voices Global Awards ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington on April 2, 2013.

Move over, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie.

Bryant Gumbel, Katie Couric, we hardly knew ye.

Joe Biden is ready to co-host the “Today” show — with Hillary Clinton.

While the tweet from the office of the vice president is all in good humor — the two did meet for breakfast today at the Naval Observatory — with the 2016 Democratic primaries over a not-so-distant horizon this could be the last time @VP tweets out the handle of @HillaryClinton:

It started with Al Roker saying he’d watch a Joe Biden reality-TV show.

It just might be better than Gumbel asking, nearly 20 years ago, on-air: “What is the Internet, anyway… what do you write to it, like mail?”
