Nixon Tapes: Some ‘Offensive’

The final public installment of the Nixon tapes are out — some of those 3,700 hours of conversations in the Oval Office recorded between February 1971 and July 1973.

The last 340 hours available for public consumption were released today by the National Archives and Records Administration and Nixon Presidential Library Seven hundred hours remain sealed for reasons of national security and privacy.

The tapes were secret, the tweets are not.
