The president is going all out in his search for Obamacare recruits.

That includes The Ellen DeGeneres Show, with a live appearance planned Thursday as the March 31 deadline for signing up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act nears.

President Barack Obama has called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and weighed in at Zach Galifianakis’s “Funny or Die” web-series, “Between Two Ferns.” (Hosted in the White House Diplomatic Room.)

Noting that Obama had pardoned a turkey last Thanksgiving, the host asked what he has planned for next year. “We’ll pardon another turkey,” Obama said.

“What’s it like to be the last black president?” the comedian asked the president.

“Seriously, what’s it like for this to be the last time you talk to a president?”  the president asked, noting that it was actor Bradley Cooper who carried those “Hangover” movies.

“I wouldn’t be with you here today if I didn’t have something to plug,” said Obama, suffering through a painful line of questioning before plugging Obamacare. “What we want people to know is you can get affordable health care.

With DeGeneres, the host of the Academy Awards who lighted up the Internet with a group-selfie, the president who posed in a trio at the funeral service for Nelson Mandela might be talked into a double.
