Donors will fork over $25,000 per couple to eat dinner with Bill and Hillary Clinton at their Washington home on Sept. 8, according to an invitation obtained by Bloomberg News.

The pricey meal with the former president and former secretary of state is part of a larger fund-raising event for the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation that night.

A $1,000-a-head cocktail reception at the Italian Embassy, just down the street from the Clintons’ redbrick house, will precede the dinner, Clinton Foundation Chief Development Officer Dennis Cheng wrote in an e-mail to supporters.

For $50,000, a couple gets passes to the cocktail reception, the dinner and the Clinton Foundation’s Annual Briefing next spring.
