Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s leadership political action committee raised $620,366 in this year’s second quarter.

Donors to the Massachusetts Democrat’s PAC for a Level Playing Field included Craig Newmark, founder of the Craigslist website, and Henry Goldberg, founder of real estate investment firm Artery Capital Group LLC.

Leadership PACs allow officeholders to raise money to fund political travel and make donations to preferred candidates. Warren, who was elected to the Senate in 2012, has been campaigning for Democratic Senate candidates including Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky and Natalie Tennant in West Virginia.

Warren spoke last week at Netroots Nation, an annual conference that bills itself as “a giant family union for the left.”

Bloomberg’s Annie Linskey covered the event in Detroit and also appeared on C-Span’s “Washington Journal” yesterday to discuss her story and other political topics.
