Mr. Shunichi Suzuki is the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Financial Services in Japan. He previously served as Minister of the Environment and Minister in charge of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. In 1990, he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, and has been elected 10 times since. He graduated in education from Waseda University. He was born in 1953. His birth place is in Iwate Prefecture of Japan.

Hiroshi Komori was appointed as a member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) in August 2022, effective 1 September 2022.
Before joining the ISSB, Mr Komori served as Senior Director and Head of the Stewardship of the ESG Division at the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) in Japan from 2015 to 2022, where he established the Division and developed GPIF’s investor engagement and participation in international sustainability initiatives.
Prior to his work at GPIF, he worked for Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, where he created an investor relations consulting service for Japanese companies and Saitama Bank (now Resona Bank).
Mr Komori holds a Master’s of International Relations from the International University of Japan.

Mr. Yoshio Horimoto has been Vice Commissioner for Strategy Development and Evidence-based Policymaking, Strategy Development and Management Bureau, Financial Services Agency of Japan (JFSA) since June 2022. Mr. Horimoto is responsible for planning the overall financial policies of JFSA, promoting sustainable finance, and strengthening functions as the international financial center of Japan.
Mr. Horimoto started his career at the Ministry of Finance, as well as serving as a Special Advisor for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
Throughout his career at JFSA, Mr. Horimoto has mainly been involved in the supervision and inspection of financial institutions. Mr. Horimoto was Deputy Director-General, Supervision Bureau, in charge of the supervision of Mega Banks among other large financial institutions from 2021 to June 2022, preceded by being Deputy Director-General, Strategy Development and Management Bureau, in charge of the inspection from 2019 to June 2021.
Mr. Horimoto has also been Counsellor of Cabinet Secretariat and Deputy Director-General of Cabinet Secretariat since 2014. Mr. Horimoto is currently Deputy Director-General of the New Form of Capitalism Realization Headquarters, Cabinet Secretariat.
Additionally, Mr. Horimoto worked as a senior manager at a private consulting firm for five years.
Mr. Horimoto holds B.B.A. from the University of Tokyo.

Patricia Torres Leandro is the Global Head of Sustainable Finance Solutions at Bloomberg LP since 2019. She leads the business development team responsible for ensuring the delivery of Bloomberg’s proprietary and transparent ESG scoring model and carbon emissions estimates, its solutions for regulatory ESG requirements (SFDR, EU Taxonomy) and climate (climate risk rating, implied temperature rise and TCFD-aligned reported data), the Gender Equality Index, and finally, for embedding proprietary and third party ESG data into Bloomberg’s enterprise solutions. Prior to that, she headed various departments at Bloomberg over the past 19 years, including in sales, strategy, data management, and product development. Before joining Bloomberg she worked as a management consultant at Roland Berger.

Patricia graduated as an economist and has done various post-graduate courses in business sustainability management, corporate finance, enterprise selling, corporate governance and negotiation. She is also a board member of the London Women’s Forum and has a BsC in Economics from Universidade Nova in Lisbon.

Based in New York, Chris Hackel is the Head of Sustainable Indices Bloomberg.

Chris oversees the strategy and development of ESG, climate, and other sustainable-themed benchmarks. He has over a decade of experience working with investors to incorporate sustainable investment themes in indices, portfolios, and products.

Chris’ prior experience includes the development and implementation of automated strategies at a high-volume equity hedge fund, structuring CMOs on a Fixed Income trading desk, and developing trading tools as part of a Fixed Income Quantitative Research group. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Syracuse University.

Adeline is Director of Research for ESG and Thematic Investing for Bloomberg Intelligence, covering EMEA and APAC. She has 20 years of experience as an investment professional managing ESG, climate and activist funds but also directing ESG integration strategies across asset classes for over $400bn AUM. She led such efforts for leading financial institutions on both the buy side and the sell side including at HSBC AM, GLG Partners, APG and Barclays. Adeline started her career at the World Bank and prior to finance she worked as a foreign affairs analyst on Capitol Hill.

Nadia manages the global Sustainable Finance Data Solutions team at Bloomberg LP and is focused on transforming how financial firms consume and use high quality ESG data for investment strategies.

Nadia also serves as an observer and previously co-rapporteur on the European Commission’s Platform for Sustainable Finance and is a member of the Green Finance Industry Taskforce convened by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and of the Taxonomy Technical Expert Group of the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI). In addition, she sits on the Consultative Working Group (CWG) on Sustainable Finance for ESMA.

Nadia was a member of the Green Technical Advisory Group to the UK Government and supported the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission’s Technical Expert Group for climate related product disclosures. She was previously the Global Head of Regulatory and Climate Solutions at Bloomberg LP, supporting climate and ESG regulatory product development. Prior to Bloomberg, Nadia worked at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.

Nadia is a keen advocate for Women in FinTech and sat on Bloomberg’s EMEA Diversity Council. She is an ICMA mentor and coach under the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses initiative.

Soojin Lee is the Head of ESG Platform & Analytics in the Sustainable Finance Solutions Group at Bloomberg L.P. Currently based in London, she has spent 17 years with Bloomberg, working out of its New York, Hong Kong and London offices. Soojin holds a Masters of Science in Global Finance from New York University at the Stern School of Business.

Jonas leads BNEF’s sustainability analysis, helping corporations and investors understand the technologies and solutions companies can employ to generate new sustainable opportunities and reduce their transition risk. This leverages BNEF’s research on transformational topics ranging from clean energy and electric mobility to digitalization and advanced materials, as well as building on Bloomberg’s close connection with the TCFD. Before this, Jonas lead BNEF’s research on the impact of the energy transition on the European power sector and what that means for utility and investor strategies, and was author of BNEF’s New Energy Outlook for Europe. Jonas previously worked in sustainable energy consulting and holds an MSc in sustainable energy from Imperial College London and an MEng from Cambridge University.
