Overview

Please note, registration for the event has ended. There will be limited walk in availability. We hope you will join us for a future New Voices event!

Please join us on September 17 at the Art Gallery of Ontario as Bloomberg New Voices launches its 2024 Toronto cohort to amplify the views and perspectives of senior women in finance.

The evening will feature conversations with Bank of Canada Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn Rogers and RBC Chief Economist Frances Donald, interviewed by Bloomberg Television’s Alix Steel, as well as remarks from New Voices founder Laura Zelenko

The event marks the return of New Voices to Toronto, one of 16 global cities where Bloomberg sponsors intensive media training for senior female financial professionals to raise their visibility in financial media. Since 2018, more than 600 executives around the world have participated in the program, which has helped more than triple the percentage of on-air female guests on Bloomberg TV.

You will have a chance to learn more about the program and network with Bloomberg News executives and leaders across business and finance. Attendees will have access to the AGO’s Moments in Modernism exhibition, featuring artworks from Andy Warhol, Helen Frankenthaler, Mark Rothko and Tomie Ohtake as well as Canadian artists including Alex Colville, Rita Letendre, Jack Bush, Agnes Martin, Guido Molinari and Norval Morrisseau.

Cocktails and light fare will be served.
