Mr. Benjardin Gärtner serves as Head of Equity Portfolio Management and Member of the Union Investment Committee at Union Investment Group. He also serves as Managing Director, Head of the Investment’s Equity Portfolio Management & Member of the Union Investment Committee at Union Asset Management Holding. He is one of six voting members of the “Union Investment Committee” (UIC). The UIC formulated every month the capital market strategy of Union Investment and set the guidelines for the tactical control of the funds by the individual portfolio managers. Previously, he was in 2010 at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt and London in various positions, most recently as Co-Head of the German equity team. After completing his banking apprenticeship with BfG Bank AG, he studied business administration at the Technical University of Berlin between 1992 and 1997

Henry Jim is an ETF Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence. Prior to joining Bloomberg he was an ETF product developer at State Street SPDR and BlackRock iShares, launching over 100 ETFs in the USA, Canada, and Latin America. As product developer he covered the entire ETF product life cycle of strategy, development, and product management. He is currently based in Geneva, Switzerland.

As co-lead of the multi asset allocation team, Peter oversees the investment strategy of the DWS allocation portfolios, including mutual funds, mandates, and advisory solutions. He joined DWS in 2015 as portfolio manager for multi asset funds. Prior to his current role, Peter worked as Head of Strategic Asset Allocation. Peter is the Lead Portfolio Manager of the DWS Strategic ESG Allocation funds.

Daniel Willmann is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ultramarin and the first point of contact for our clients. In addition to strategic corporate development, he is particularly responsible for product design and fund management. Daniel gained professional experience in various professional services organizations in Munich, Frankfurt and London and worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the RWTH Aachen University. Daniel studied economics with a focus on financial accounting and empirical asset pricing at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (Vallendar, DE), the Stephen M. Ross School of Business (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, US) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (London, UK). He received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen University (Aachen, DE) and was a visiting researcher at Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US). Daniel is a recipient of the Anthony Hopwood Award of the London School of Economics for academic achievement and has published several articles on his empirical financial market research.

Andreas is part of the Specialists team in London and covers Bloomberg’s Equity Derivatives workflows and functionality. His role is to support sales in all aspects of the product, advise clients how to best set up and use the functionality. He helps product management with market insight and direct client feedback when it comes to product development. His role includes to represent Bloomberg and its products at industry events and to providing content for various Bloomberg publications such as writing functions for markets and articles.
Andreas has twenty + years of industry experience in equity derivatives trading and sales. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he held an Executive Director position at Nomura in Frankfurt selling equity derivatives to German/Austrian institutional clients. He has spent 9 years with Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and London and had various assignments with German Banks in Equities where he managed teams of traders for cash equities and equity derivatives.
