Overview
The Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA) brings together thought leaders from the public and private sector for a discussion on how to enhance the EU’s sustainable finance framework in support of climate and broader sustainability objectives.
Sustainable finance has a key role to play in delivering resilient global capital markets and the transition to a sustainable economy. The EU has been at the forefront of the sustainable finance revolution, with ambitious regulations such as the EU Taxonomy, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) well underway.
While significant progress has been made, further efforts to enhance the coherence and usability of the existing policy framework will be key to scaling up finance in innovation and decarbonisation and fostering an environment that prioritises long-term sustainability goals.
