Gemma Postlethwaite is Chief Executive Officer of GLG. The experts on expertise, GLG connects leading professionals – including nearly half of the Fortune 100 and the majority of the top 10 global banks, consultancies, tech companies, law firms, and pharmaceutical corporations – to the insights they need to make informed decisions.

Before joining GLG in July 2023, Gemma served as CEO of Arizent, a business information company providing specialist content for the financial and professional
services industries and unique B2B marketing solutions for some of the world’s leading technology and consulting brands. She led Arizent’s transformation from a media and publishing company to a tech-enabled platform solution leveraging the company’s extensive first-party data.

Prior to Arizent, Gemma served as CEO of PIRA Energy Group. In 2016, Gemma
led the sale of PIRA Energy Group to S&P Global. She also was SVP, Strategy and Operations at Altegrity; Chief Product Officer and President of Infogroup’s SMB business unit; and spent eight years in senior positions at Thomson Reuters in product and data, global investment banking and private equity, and commercial strategy. Additionally, Gemma is a Member of the Supervisory Board at TomTom.

A seasoned financial executive with over 20 years of leadership at DWS, Hepsen is a key driver for organizational growth, consistently delivering strategic initiatives that have expanded the firm’s market presence and operational efficiency. Since joining the organization in 2003, she has advanced from multiple leadership roles to the pinnacle of regional leadership, a journey marked by her keen ability to navigate complex business challenges and create sustainable value.

Hepsen’s strategic oversight spans across various critical roles in and outside of DWS, including various board positions with ICI Mutual, DWS USA Corporation, specialized closed-end funds and certain non-profit organizations. These appointments underscore her reputation as a trusted leader who brings nuanced financial insight, vision and forward-thinking risk and governance oversight.
