Overview

Bloomberg Prague Office Engineering Meetup: Modern Software Engineering in Practice

Join us for another evening of software engineering at Bloomberg’s Prague Office.

This meetup is a chance to hear from Bloomberg software engineers working across software development, platform reliability, and engineering leadership, and to explore some of the challenges and opportunities shaping modern software engineering.

Across four focused talks, we’ll look at how SRE thinking can help developers build more reliable and observable systems from the outset, explore the way AI agents can change how to approach large-scale software development, and dive into the performance improvements coming with .NET 11. We’ll also step back from the technology to look at how engineering careers grow and evolve at Bloomberg.

Along the way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, meet the engineers behind these talks, and get a feel for what it’s like to build software at Bloomberg.
