Haoxiang Zhu is the Director of the SEC’s Division of Trading and Markets. He holds a professorship at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, contributing research to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Zhu has advised prominent organizations like the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Bank for International Settlements. His academic background includes a B.A. from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in finance from Stanford.

Larry Tabb serves as the Director of Market Structure Research at Bloomberg, LLP. He leads a research team providing insights into financial markets infrastructure, technology, and regulation. Tabb was previously Research Chairman at TABB Group, where he focused on capital markets. He has advised regulatory bodies like the SEC and CFTC on market structure and is a sought-after speaker in major industry events. His career includes roles at TowerGroup, Lehman Brothers, and Citibank.

Before joining Webull, Adams was Senior Vice President, Head of Derivatives and Global Client Services at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. Adams has served on several industry committees, including the Options Market Structure Committee, STA Options Committee and the Options Industry Council (OIC) Advisory Board. She earned a B.S. in Finance and was co-captain of the school’s varsity women’s swimming team. She holds NASD Series 3, 7, 63 and 55 and Principal NASD Series 4, 9 and 10 licenses.

John Krudop is Executive Director of Equity Retail Trading at Wells Fargo Securities. He is a 30-year veteran in retail securities brokerage and has been with Wells Fargo for 24 years. In his role, he has designed enhanced retail smart router strategies to optimize fill rates and price improvement opportunities for Wells Fargo clients. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of Missouri—Columbia and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance from Saint Louis University.

Steve Quirk is the Chief Brokerage Officer at Robinhood Markets. With extensive experience from his tenure at TD Ameritrade, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic focus of the organization. Quirk is known for championing investor education, particularly through initiatives like the TD Ameritrade U program. He has an impressive background in developing new trading tools and technology enhancements. Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BBA in Risk/Insurance and Marketing. He holds FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, and 24 and is an active Board Member of Cara Collective.

Jackson Gutenplan is a Research Analyst on the BI Market Structure team. Jackson conducts and publishes research on equity and options trading and market structure issues, and leads the team’s data and analytics strategy. Previous to his tenure at Bloomberg, Jackson was an equity trader, and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder

Roman Ginis is the CEO of Imperative Execution, known for IntelligentCross, an AI-powered ATS for US equities. Under his leadership, the company has garnered accolades for execution quality and innovation. Ginis brings quantitative trading experience from Point72 and UBS, and his earlier work includes DARPA projects at BAE and IBM Watson Labs. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Caltech, specializing in distributed systems and discrete optimization.

Jennifer Hadiaris is Managing Director, Head of Global Market Structure. Prior to TD Cowen, Ms. Hadiaris was with Deutsche Bank where she led the market structure team as the Head of Global Market Structure, Americas. Prior to that, she spent ten years at RBC Capital Markets where she served in a similar capacity. Ms. Hadiaris graduated from Harvard University with a BA. In 2014 she was recognized by Traders Magazine as a Rising Star.

Kevin Kennedy is Executive Vice President of North American Markets at Nasdaq. In this role, he leads the team across North American Equities, U.S. Derivatives and Connectivity Services. Prior to this role, Kevin served as Head of U.S. Derivatives at Nasdaq, responsible for the full slate of Nasdaq options and futures products. Kevin also serves as a Board Member for the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and Nasdaq CXC Limited, and previously served as a Board Member on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, prior to its acquisition by Nasdaq. Kevin holds a B.S. in Finance from La Salle University.

Jatin Suryawanshi leads Global Quantitative Strategy at Jefferies. Since 2009, he’s directed the Global Algorithmic Trading product, innovating in institutional trading algorithms. Suryawanshi’s experience includes roles at Goldman Sachs, UBS, and BNP Paribas. His academic background includes an M.B.A. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management and an M.S. in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Paul Gulberg specializes in North American banks, asset managers, asset servicers and exchanges. Prior to joining Bloomberg Intelligence, Mr. Gulberg was an equity analyst for Portales Partners, spent several years working as an associate portfolio manager for AllianceBernstein, as well as a fixed income analyst for Infroma Global Markets. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Douglas Cifu is the CEO of Virtu Financial and co-founded the company in 2008. His legal expertise as a former partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison has made him a leading figure in mergers and acquisitions. Recognized for his influence in private equity and technology, Cifu also serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board and Columbia College’s board of visitors. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from Columbia University.

Katherine Doherty covers market structure and finance for Bloomberg News. She started her career in journalism as a radio reporter at Rhode Island Public Radio, the NPR affiliate in Providence while at Brown University. At Bloomberg she has covered healthcare and the credit market with a focus on restructurings and bankruptcy. Born in Massachusetts, Katherine is a former Broadway actor and an avid Boston sports fan.
