Sean Gilmartin is currently a Chemicals Analyst within Bloomberg Intelligence, Bloomberg’s research division. He has been analyzing companies in the basic materials space for nearly a decade.

Prior to joining Bloomberg Intelligence, Sean worked for 5 years on a highly ranked U.S. Chemicals & Ag franchise with Duffy Fischer, holding the position of Vice President, Equity Research at Barclays Capital.

Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Business Management from Bucknell University.

Andrew Miller holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence Ltd (Benchmark), a London-based market intelligence, consultancy and price reporting agency specialising in energy transition supply chains.

Andrew oversees Benchmark’s supply chain research and analysis, which stretches from long-term forecasting of supply, demand, costs, and pricing, through to sustainability assessments and bespoke advisory projects for a cross section of industry and regulatory stakeholders. At Benchmark, Andrew regularly presents to leading market participants, government bodies and industry forums, while also travelling to active mines, processing plants and manufacturing hubs across the world.

Mr. Richardson has worked in the mining industry for 14 years and in 2010 when Anson Resources Ltd (then Mayan Iron) was listed on the ASX, he was Managing Director of the Company. Over this period Mr. Richardson has been involved in several mining project both in Australia and overseas with a focus on iron ore, base metals and other minerals. Mr. Richardson identified the Paradox Lithium Project in Utah, USA and has been focused on this opportunity moving to the USA in 2019 to focus on this project. In 2018, Mr. Richardson became Executive Chairman/CEO of Anson Resources. Mr. Richardson holds no other Directorships in other listed companies

Robert Mintak has over 20 years of experience in corporate management, with a specific emphasis on strategic development and corporate governance. With a global network of lithium industry contacts and key opinion leaders, he is a pioneer in the rapidly evolving market for lithium production. Mr. Mintak was recognized as CEO of the top mining companies on the TSXV50 in both 2016 & 2018.

Vice President, Investor Relations Mr. Cacos has over 20 years of investor relations experience working with public mining companies, ranging from early-stage exploration and development to production. Most recently, Mr. Cacos served as Vice President, Investor Relations for First Mining Gold, a Canadian gold development company listed on the TSX and OTCQX, focused on the development and permitting of the Springpole Gold Project, one of the largest undeveloped gold projects in Canada. His prior roles include serving as Vice President, Investor Relations for Group Eleven Resources Corp., a mineral exploration company focused on advanced stage zinc exploration in Ireland, and as Director of Investor Relations for Great Panther Mining Limited (formerly Great Panther Silver Limited), a primary silver mining company listed on the TSX and the NYSE with two mining operations in Mexico.

Gene Berdichevsky is the Co-Founder & CEO of Sila Nanotechnologies. Prior to co-founding Sila, Gene was the seventh employee at Tesla Motors where he served as Principal Engineer on the Roadster battery, leading the development of the world’s first, safe, mass-produced, automotive lithium-ion battery system.

Gene holds two degrees from Stanford University; an MS in Engineering with a focus on energy and materials, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has co-authored 42 patents and 4 academic publications. Gene has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list, the MIT Technology Review 35 Under 35, and was a recipient of the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans.

With about thirteen years’ experience in the lithium industry, Ashish Patki currently leads Livent’s business development across the electric vehicle and battery value chains, and market intelligence initiatives. Prior to his current role, Ashish managed Livent’s portfolio of performance lithium compounds having applications in energy storage, aerospace alloys, lubricating greases, pharmaceuticals and polymers. Ashish previously worked in commercial and engineering roles in the biofuels, energy recovery and reuse, and solar industries.

Ashish holds a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from University of Pune, India, and MBA from Tulane University, USA. He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mr. Guedes has 20+ years experience as an entrepreneur, fund manager and senior executive with several public companies. He was President of a family owned construction company for over 10 years before moving to the public markets. Mr. Guedes key focus over the last 14+ years has been centered around renewable energy and climate change in industries like wind energy, wave energy, biofuels, hydrogen and carbon credits. Mr. Guedes received his Bachelor of Commerce from the Michael DeGroot School of Business at McMaster University.

David is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Cirba Solutions. His impressive, over 25-year career is in research & development, operations, commercial, and strategic leadership roles across numerous innovative industries, including the global lithium business, energy storage, and several specialty materials industries. While working at Piedmont Lithium, Albemarle, and Dow Chemical he had expansive assignments in Spain, Switzerland, Australia, and China, that brought out his passion for travel and culture. He is a Chemical Engineer with an Executive MBA in Global Management, and focuses on safety, operations, talent development, and innovation.

Alix Steel is the co-anchor of “Bloomberg Daybreak Americas,” Bloomberg’s flagship morning show focused on the important financial and global news of the day. Alix also anchors the weekly show “Bloomberg Commodities Edge,” a thirty minute program dedicated to the biggest names and news in the commodity world. Alix has interviewed numerous influential business leaders including Sam Zell, Ken Langone, Gary Cohn, Lloyd Blankfein, James Gorman, Lynn Good of Duke Energy, and most oil and gas CEOs in the business.

Kevin Tynan is the Global Director of Automotive Research for Bloomberg Intelligence since 2009. With 25 years of investment research experience, Mr. Tynan began his career as an equity analyst at Argus Research, covering the global automotive, auto parts and auto retailers industries. As a senior analyst, the “Financial Times/StarMine” ranked Mr. Tynan the top stock picker for the automobile parts segment in 2007. He was the No. 2 ranked automobile manufacturing sector stock picker according to “Forbes/StarMine” in 2004 and again in 2005. Mr. Tynan graduated from Saint Anselm College with a BS in business economics and is a member of the college’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He received an MBA in finance from St. John’s University.

Craig has over 15 years combined experience in public investing, metals research and investment banking. He spent 12 years at King Street Capital Management, most recently as a senior analyst in charge of recommending investments in the global metals & mining sector. Craig has significant experience navigating complex, legal-driven investments around the world. He worked closely with administrators, creditors, lawyers, and advisors to reach settlements, form JVs, and accelerate recoveries, particularly in US, UK, German, Swiss and Dutch Lehman administrations.

Mohsen Crofts has 15 years financial markets experience, with 7 spent in equity research in Australia and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Bloomberg Intelligence he held business development roles at Bloomberg and Macquarie Group. He is currently based in Bloomberg’s Sydney office, covering multiple sectors including mining.

Mohsen has Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Murdoch University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

David is an industry leader with over 30 years’ experience in process technology, engineering, construction and EPC cost management, across the energy sector. He has a proven track record in delivering multi-billion dollar resource projects.
He previously served as a Senior Advisor to private equity firm, Quantum Energy Partners, the leading global provider of private capital to the responsibly sourced energy and energy transition and decarbonisation sectors, together with serving as an Executive Strategic Advisor to strategic investment firm, The Chatterjee Group.

Mr. Smith brings over 35 years of combined technical and managerial experience in the oil and gas industry.  He served as a COO with both PetroBank and PetroBakken Resources.  At Petrobank he led the Canadian Business unit’s growth from 2,000 BOEPD to over 22,000 boepd.  In 2009 he led the spinout of the business unit from Petrobank to form the new enterprise PetroBakken, which subsequently grew to over 50,000 BOEPD. Production growth evolved from aggressive drilling in resource plays following the strategic acquisitions of under-developed assets through transactions in excess of $4.5bn.

Ali currently serves as President and CEO of Lithium Energi Exploration, Inc. (LEXI). He also concurrently serves as CEO of Triangle Lithium LLC. He has long-standing experience in high-level geopolitics with relationships spanning multiple regions, including Latin America, MENA, West Africa, and the Balkans. Additionally, Ali has strong expertise in natural resource economics, upstream, downstream and midstream infrastructure and logistics. Ali is a well-recognized dealmaker with extensive experience negotiating and executing cross-border acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures.
