Bloomberg NEF is pleased to invite you to the official launch of its Energy System Flexibility Study, in partnership with Statkraft and Eaton.

Join us for a morning of presentations and discussion, where we will share the key findings of the new Study. In it, we explore the opportunities for flexibility solutions in a future high-renewable energy system.

Based on our New Energy Outlook modelling, the Study will dive deeper into the impact of new flexibility technologies, the role they can play in the future power system, and how they can influence the trajectory of energy transition in the U.K. and German markets. Technologies covered include battery storage, flexible EV charging, demand response and interconnections to Nordic hydro.

The analysis builds on last year’s ‘Beyond the Tipping Point’ report and highlights the flexibility solutions for a future power system dominated by renewable energy.

Speakers include:

  • Albert Cheung, Head of Global Analysis, BNEF
  • Jonas Rooze, Head of European Power Transition, BNEF
  • Cyrille Brisson, VP Sales and Marketing EMEA, Eaton
  • Henrik Sætness, SVP Corporate Strategy & Analysis, Statkraft
  • Nina Skorupska, Chief Executive, Renewable Energy Association
  • Jonathan Brearley, Executive Director of Systems and Networks, Ofgem

We look forward to seeing you at the launch.

This event is invitation-only.
