Overview

Join us to celebrate the launch of Responsible Investment in Fixed Income Markets, the world’s first comprehensive account of responsible investment for fixed income investors. Hear from and exchange with industry practitioners in an informal setting on ongoing industry changes to making sustainability practices more relevant and impactful.

Integrating social and environmental factors into investment decision making is fast becoming a global imperative for responsible investors. From its weighty position as home of the world’s largest asset class, the bond market has a unique vantage point on the sustainability challenges and opportunities of our time. Yet it is surprising how little is really known about the role of fixed income investors in sustainable investment.

This new book, co-edited by Joshua Kendall, Bloomberg’s Head of Sustainable Fixed Income and CEO of Chronos Sustainability , Dr Rory Sullivan, asks the critical questions to help readers understand the key characteristics of fixed income investments and the relevance of sustainability-related issues to fixed income markets such as: how can bond investors facilitate the transition to a low carbon economy, how can standards and green taxonomies play their part in encouraging investment in socially and environmentally sustainable activities, and why should we encourage greater investment in emerging markets?

We look forward to welcoming you.
