Patricia Torres Leandro is the Global Head of Sustainable Finance Solutions at Bloomberg LP since 2019. She leads the business development team responsible for ensuring the delivery of Bloomberg’s proprietary and transparent ESG scoring model and carbon emissions estimates, its solutions for regulatory ESG requirements (SFDR, EU Taxonomy) and climate (climate risk rating, implied temperature rise and TCFD-aligned reported data), the Gender Equality Index, and finally, for embedding proprietary and third party ESG data into Bloomberg’s enterprise solutions. Prior to that, she headed various departments at Bloomberg, notably in sales, strategy, data management, and product development over the past 19 years. Before joining Bloomberg she worked as a management consultant at Roland Berger.

Maria heads the Global ESG Advisory team Sustainable Finance at Standard Chartered Bank, her team is supporting the bank’s global institutional clients in the development of their sustainability and transition strategies

Authors of ESG thought leadership whitepapers, mentor, and contributor to industry initiatives in sustainable financing. Member of the CFA UK Climate and Investing committee, she is a mentor of the acceleration program at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. Independent advisor of the ESG Group A-team advisory group and a faculty member of Risk.net learning. Bachelor’s degree in financial intermediaries at Bocconi University, a Master in International Management with CEMS business school alliance (Bocconi in Italy and UCLL in Belgium), a Post-Grad diploma at Cambridge University Sustainability Leadership Institute, along with a CFA ESG qualification.

Claudia Quinonez is the Global Head of the Content Innovation group at Bloomberg, overseeing automated news & content creation, daily automation operations and the News Innovation Lab. Her focus is to drive innovation through technology led financial content creation, and experimentation with large language models for editorial workflows. With a career at Bloomberg that spams over two decades, she has accumulated a unique experience around financial news leading global teams in News, Sales and Product. Claudia has an executive master degree in Strategies and Innovation from Oxford University and a masters in Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence from Northeastern University London.

Samia is an early-stage climate tech investor with over 20 years of experience in strategy, capital raising, and investing across the full capital stack. She has experience investing in public and private equity and debt and M&A for venture-backed businesses, with a focus on the energy and climate markets. She has previously held progressive investment and strategy roles at the early-stage venture capital fund Climate VC, energy trader Castleton; investment bank Jefferies & Co.; and Merrill Lynch. Samia is a passionate advocate for climate action and diversity in the tech industry. She regularly participates in climate-related speaking engagements and hosts the “Climate Tech 360” podcast, dedicated to amplifying diverse voices in the climate sphere. Samia has a BA in Computer Science from Smith College, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an MSt with Honors in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge. She is a global citizen and has lived in 8 countries across four continents.
