**NOTE: This month’s Cornell Tech @ Bloomberg event will be hosted at Bloomberg’s 731 Lexington Ave office. Please check the “WHEN & WHERE” section below for details.**

Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, and Tech:NYC invite you to join us for the latest installment of the Cornell Tech @ Bloomberg Speaker Series, featuring Frank Reig, Co-founder and CEO of Revel, in conversation with Ritika Gupta, reporter and producer with Bloomberg Television.

On a trip abroad to Buenos Aires in 2017, Frank noticed mopeds being used as a dominant form of transportation and wondered why they weren’t being used in U.S. cities – especially in his hometown of New York City. Since then, and with more than $200 million in venture backing, he has built Revel into a leading electric mobility company, growing from a shared electric moped service to now the first all-electric rideshare service and leading provider of public fast charging infrastructure for EVs in New York City. Revel has continued its rapid pace for opening new charging stations, and is looking to expand its network to 500 fast chargers between New York and the Bay Area in the next 18-24 months.

At the end of last year, Revel closed its moped sharing service to focus on EV charging and its ride-hail business, which has already generated new partnership opportunities to build the country’s largest EV fast-charging station near LaGuardia Airport and to expand access to charging stations for drivers on the Uber platform.

We hope you’ll join us for this conversation, in which Reig will discuss the trip that inspired Revel’s launch, why rideshare drivers are leading the electric vehicle transition, mobility innovations that are still ripe for disruption, and what it will take to get EV infrastructure built in dense cities.
