Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, and Tech:NYC invite you to join us for the latest in-person installment of the Cornell Tech @ Bloomberg Speaker Series, featuring Cornell alum Scott Belsky, Chief Product Officer and Executive Vice President, Creative Cloud at Adobe, in conversation with Scarlet Fu of Bloomberg Television/Quicktake.

Belsky originally joined Adobe after it acquired his startup, Behance — a social network for creators — in 2012. Since then, Adobe has maintained a steady stream of new product releases, including Lightroom, Fresco, and Creative Cloud, which provides a collection of graphic design, video editing, web development, and other software tools as a subscription service. This bundle has been a successful strategy; in 2022, Creative Cloud revenue grew to nearly $10.5 billion, representing 10% year-over-year growth.

In September 2021, Adobe fortified its position as a leader in digital media software by announcing a $20 billion deal to buy Figma, maker of the popular web-based interface design tool. The deal represents the biggest acquisition of a venture-backed startup ever.

We hope you’ll join us for this conversation, in which Belsky will discuss how his early career led him to nearly a decade at Adobe, the company’s historic acquisition of Figma, how generative AI will transform the creator economy, and his philosophy for his own seed-stage investments.
