Ash will open the event before Greg provides an insightful exploration into the future of designing using AI. Leveraging his experience consulting with, speaking to, and training organisations about designing using AI over the past two years, Greg will delve into the misperceptions, strategies, value, and unrealised potential of AI-driven design. Featuring live demos of next-gen AI design tools and techniques, this event will push the boundaries of what you think you know, and what you think is possible with AI.

Greg Aper
Greg began his exploration of designing with artificial intelligence nearly a decade ago, and he is a globally-recognized pioneer in the integration of AI technologies for design. His work focuses on fusing human-centered methodologies with advanced AI tools to create a new paradigm of design techniques. As the Chief Exploration Officer of Superunknown Studios, Greg provides Design x AI classes, workshops, and consulting to individuals, studios, and corporate design teams.
Greg’s expansive design background and machine learning education make his work and training workshops unique amongst designers, enabling him to push the known boundaries of AI tools for all subdomains of design. He has two decades of hands-on experience leading teams in multiple subdomains of the design craft, including UX research, UX/UI design, brand design, industrial design, and hardware manufacturing.
Greg has led design programs with internationally-recognized companies, including Bosch, Ford, Dell, Philips, Cisco, Samsung, Panasonic, Google, Intel, and Georgia-Pacific, as well as advising numerous Bay Area startups over the years.
Greg is a full-time dog lover, part-time Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, & Tottenham fan (depending on his current pain tolerance level), amateur wildlife photographer, and professional hard science fiction geek.
