Overview

You are cordially invited to the 2025 Bloomberg Equity Index Advisory Council (IAC) Meeting.

This marks our inaugural Equity IAC event since the launch of the Bloomberg equity index family in 2019. Conveniently, the Paris IAC meeting will take place on the same day as the Paris Buy Side Forum, allowing attendees to participate in both events.

The IAC is a closed, invitation-only forum held annually in both Europe and the US. It brings together a select group of equity index investors and banks to discuss key topics shaping the future of our equity indices.

This year’s agenda includes a review of our recent consultation results and their implementation, as well as discussions on methodology topics such as market classification. We’ll also explore forward-looking areas including index capping and the expansion of our equity universe coverage.
