You are cordially invited to the 2025 Bloomberg Equity Index Advisory Council meeting.
This is our inaugural Equity Index Advisory Council (IAC) event since the equity index family launched in 2019. Our Paris IAC event will be held on the same day as the Paris Buy Side Forum, making it convenient to attend both if you wish.
The IAC is a closed forum that will be held annually at a location in Europe and the US. The event brings together a select group of equity index investors and banks. The IAC meetings provide gatherings for discussion of key topics that impact the equity family of indices.
We look forward to covering a wide variety of topics during this year’s advisory council. We will start by looking at the results of our recent consultation and their implementation. We will also cover other topics of interest regarding our methodology including market classification.
We will highlight some areas of interest for the future for discussion as well including capping and the expansion of our equity universe coverage.
