There are unique challenges and changes a woman goes through in her lifetime – given the complexity and diversity of women’s health issues, and empowerment through knowledge becomes key for navigating these challenges.

Join our impressive line-up of panelists as they discuss different aspects including holistic approaches to well-being beyond physical health and how to navigate through different life stages with confidence. This event is open to all – come network with FMAS members and Bloomberg.

In 2003, Wendy Chua-Sullivan left a secure career as School Psychologist of Raffles Institution to start her own leadership practice WAND INSPIRATION. She has over 20 years of experience as an educator for personal transformation, applying Psychology to help leaders and teams build resilience and better performance.

Wendy’s approach to coaching high achievers to maximum performance has been presented at the 2002 International Congress of Applied Psychology. Her WAND approach emphasizes the use of relevant questions; effective actions; acknowledgement; being neutral and non-judging; recognising individual differences; and making a difference.

Through her workshops, talks, books and shows, Wendy has made a difference to thousands of executives, consultants, educators, military leaders, students and parents in Singapore and around the world.

Wendy has an authentic style of communication that builds trust quickly with her clients. Her commitment to her clients’ achievement leads her to design relevant strategies and interventions with them.

She has written 23 books based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, and developing resilience. Since March 2020, Wendy has given PDF copies of her book “The WAND Way to Resilience” to healthcare workers and anyone who wants to be more resilient.

Wendy is married, with four grown-up children. She volunteers in youths and families-at-risk programmes and as an advocate in the Singapore Mental Well-being Network.

Dr Dharsh was born in the United Kingdom and educated in Singapore. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. She subsequently went on to obtain her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (United Kingdom).

A proud mother of three beautiful girls, Dr Dharsh knows of the immense joys that motherhood can bring. The Kierauniv clinic name itself is a lovely collage of the names of her girls. Dr Dharsh takes great pride in taking her patients through the wondrous journey of pregnancy and being a strong breastfeeding advocate and confidante thereafter. She currently delivers and performs her surgical procedures at both Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Thomson Medical Centre.

Paula manages a global team of sales relationship managers at Bloomberg in the Electronic Trading Solutions group. Her team looks after the providers of liquidity – both in fixed income and foreign exchange – that spans across all of the Bloomberg trading platforms.
She also co-headed the Bloomberg Women’s Community for EMEA, and leveraged the platform to highlight Peri-menopause in the city and the importance of speaking out about its effects on womens’ lives and careers. She has a passion for D&I and female mentoring.
Prior to joining Bloomberg 9 years ago, Paula, who now has had a career in the city for over 30 years, was a currency trader at Goldman Sachs for 14 years and has worked in various eFX Sales roles in London in banks and brokers.

Ping Tan is a Managing Director at Bank of America (BofA). She heads the Asia EFX & Asia Transactional FX trading teams based out of Singapore, with global oversight of the principal EFX traders managing risks for the electronic FX franchise. Besides her trading risk mandate, she is also responsible for product development strategy across Global FX & Emerging Markets, including EFX to continue expanding BofA’s electronic offering, in addition to overseeing all regulatory and governance-related matters for EFX business globally.

Ping joined the BofA Singapore office in 2004 as an Emerging Markets FX trader before being posted to the London office in 2006 and established the EFX trading desk operation globally in 2007. She relocated to Hong Kong office in October 2015 to and had the opportunity to move back to the Singapore office in May 2022 on the back of her expanded global role into Product Strategy.

Beyond her day job, Ping is heavily involved in various D&I initiatives at the firm including BofA Philanthropy Committees in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as past leadership roles chairing the APAC FICC Employee Engagement Committee, co-chair of Hong Kong Parents & Caregivers Network, APAC Women Leadership Council, Global Markets Campus Committee, and proud recipient of 2016 Global Volunteer Award. Outside the firm, she sits on FMAS (formerly ACI Singapore) Executive Committee and chairs the Women@FMAS sub-committee, represents FMAS in the Global ACI Women in Global Markets sub-committee.

Ping graduated from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
