Jupyter Community Workshop: The Future of Jupyter Widgets

Overview

Join us at Bloomberg’s London office for our Jupyter Community Workshop.

Looking ahead from the recent release of ipywidgets 8.x, we will discuss and explore avenues for evolving the API and use cases for ipywidgets 9.x and beyond. This includes embedding ipywidgets in iframes, designing and implementing a clear comm protocol (like the one in Google Colab, for example), visual overhaul and theming, as well as considerations for embedding widgets in contexts outside Jupyter notebooks (Plotly Dash, for example). This is a four-day event. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on all days.
