Kevin McPartland is the Head of Research for Coalition Greenwich’s market structure and technology practice. He has over 25 years of capital markets industry experience with deep expertise in market structure, electronic trading and the technology powering the capital markets.

Prior to joining the Coalition Greenwich, Kevin was with BlackRock, where he was a Director on the Electronic Trading and Market Structure team. Prior to joining Blackrock, he was a Principal at TABB Group, where he founded and led the firm’s Fixed-Income research practice. Kevin also spent time at JPMorgan, UBS and Deutsche Bank primarily focused on the development of trading technology. Kevin has presented at a wide range of industry conferences and is quoted regularly in the financial media including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg News, The Economist, Reuters, and numerous other industry publications. He has also provided live and taped commentary for Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Bloomberg Radio, and National Public Radio. Kevin provided testimony discussing the Dodd-Frank Act to the US Senate’s Banking Committee in 2011, presented three times to the US Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and spoke with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee. Kevin earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and is currently a member of the advisory board for the M.S. program at the Lally School of Management.

He holds both an MBA from NYU Stern and an Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.

Fateen Sharaby is a business manager for index-linked products within Bloomberg Index Services Limited. In this role, he is responsible for growing the derivatives business linked to Bloomberg indices including bilateral and cleared OTC swaps, listed futures and options as well as related tools and analytics. Before joining Bloomberg, Mr. Sharaby was an Executive Director of Clearing & Post-Trade Product Management at CME Group where he led a global product management team responsible for the development of all new listed and cleared OTC products and post-trade services from inception to marketplace adoption. Before that he worked in various roles at IBM Global Business Services and Countrywide Financial. Mr. Sharaby holds a B.S. in business management from California State University, Northridge.

David Mullen is a senior business manager in Bloomberg LP’s Fixed Income Core Product area. In his role he is responsible for developing new fixed income analytics and tools for identifying relative value trading opportunities in the fixed income credit markets.

Mr. Mullen has been with the firm for over 25 years and prior to his current role, he was a member of Bloomberg Index Services Limited (BISL) and responsible for developing new fixed income derivative products tracking Bloomberg indices. Prior to that, he developed BSKT <GO> – the fixed income ETF market’s first electronic Creation/Redemption platform and developed FI ETF analytics on the Bloomberg terminal. He was also responsible for developing Bloomberg’s Fixed Income Electronic Trading platform (FIT) and has been a speaker at many industry conferences over the years

Before joining Bloomberg, he spent several years as a fixed income trader and salesperson at several Wall Street firms including Deutsche Bank, Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette and Prudential Securities.

Dave Gedeon oversees the strategy and development of products and services for Bloomberg’s Index business, including fixed-income, the commodity and alternatives index suite, multi-asset strategies, 3rd party calculation efforts, and the global equity expansion. He is a recognized industry leader in index design and implementation. Prior to joining Bloomberg in January 2020, Mr. Gedeon was the Global Head of Research & Development at Nasdaq and was responsible for index product management, development, and research of Nasdaq Global Indexes. During his tenure, he oversaw the launch of thousands of indexes and subsequent product growth. Mr. Gedeon holds a B.A. in economics from Denison University.

Umesh Gajria is Global Head of Index-Linked Products at Bloomberg, overseeing index derivative products and analytics. In addition, he leads the firm’s efforts in the transition to Risk Free Rates (RFRs) including ISDA fallbacks. Earlier he served as COO for Bloomberg’s Enterprise Product business, after joining the firm in 2017. Previously, Mr. Gajria was an Executive Director of Global Business Development at CME Group where he led growth initiatives for the Financial Products business. Before that he worked in various roles at US Bank, JP Morgan and Lexis Nexis. Mr. Gajria holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
