東京大学経済学部卒、日本銀行に入行し、金融、国際関係業務に携わる。国内証券会社を経て、2016年5月に銀行セクターシニアアナリストとしてJPモルガン証券に入社、2022年５月にチーフ株式ストラテジストに就任。東京大学経済学部卒、ロンドンビジネススクール修士。2010-2011年コロンビア・ビジネス・スクール日本経営経済研究所（CJEB）客員研究員。2020年金融審議会「銀行制度のあり方検討」WG専門委員等を務める。日本証券アナリスト協会ディスクロージャー研究会委員（銀行部門）も務める。
Rie Nishihara joined J.P. Morgan as a senior bank analyst in 2015. She has been ranked as one of the top analysts in Institutional Investor’s surveys since 2016 and became Chief Japan Equity Strategist in May 2022. She provides strategic views on Japanese equities based on her profound understanding of macroeconomic policy as a former BOJ staffer. Nishihara graduated in economics from the University of Tokyo (BA) and from the London Business School (MSc) and was a visiting fellow at Columbia Business School’s Center on Japanese Economy and Business in 2010-2011. She served as Adviser to the Financial System Council on bank regulation reform in 2020.

世界銀行資本市場部、世界銀行グループ多国間投資保証機関(MIGA)東京代表、ダルバーグジャパン代表、ファーストリテリンググループのダイバーシティ担当部長(グロバルヘッド)および人権委員会事務局長を歴任。現在、三菱商事の社外監査役、明治ホールディングスのサステナビリティー・アドバイザリーボードメンバー、ならびにSMBC日興証券CIO のアドバイザリーボードメンバーを兼任。JICA海外投融資有識者委員、Mashing Up 財団理事。

Mari is an impact investing leader with extensive background in sustainable finance and social entrepreneurship.

Mari cofounded SDG Impact Japan in 2021 and developed the ESG engagement fund to promote sustainable conduct of Japanese medium and small sized public companies. In 2017, she led the establishment of the Asia Women Impact Fund ($100 million) at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, the first gender lens investment fund in Japan.

Previously Mari held several senior positions at the World Bank Group in Washington DC and Tokyo including the representative of MIGA (the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency) in Tokyo. She also served as the global head of diversity and human rights of Fast Retailing Group, and Japan Representative of Dalberg, She currently serves as an outside auditor of Mitsubishi Corporation, an expert advisor on JICA’s Overseas Investment Review Committee; a member of the ESG Advisory Board member of Meiji Holdings; and a member of the Advisory Board of the CIO office, Nikko Securities.

Mari holds a BA in Economics from Tokyo University and an MA from the Fletcher School, Tufts University.

Laura Zelenko is senior executive editor overseeing talent, diversity, training and standards across Bloomberg’s global newsroom. As part of her role, Laura set out a comprehensive initiative – New Voices — to improve gender representation on every platform, including a tracking system for sourcing and a media training program for women executives. Within the newsroom she works with managers to make meaningful progress towards gender parity and increased ethnic diversity at every level and leads new training, recruiting and development efforts to meet those goals. Laura began working for Bloomberg 29 years ago in Prague and has run numerous global reporting teams, most recently managing all of Bloomberg’s business, finance, energy and investigative coverage. She is a graduate of Princeton University with a BA in politics.

Based in Tokyo, Kurumi Mori is anchor of Bloomberg Quicktake. As Editorial Lead for Quicktake, she shapes video news coverage across the Asia region. Mori has reported from the frontlines of world events including Davos, G7, G20, the Fukushima nuclear disaster; most recently helming coverage of the Tokyo and Beijing Olympic Games. She holds a Master’s degree in journalism from Columbia Journalism School.
