Overview

Bloomberg New Voices invites you to our event at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on December 8 as we kick off another year of intensive media training for senior Latinx professionals in business and finance. Join us to learn more about this important initiative to improve representation in our news coverage.

The evening will feature a conversation with Tere Blanca, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Blanca Commercial Real Estate and Anne Dias, Founder and CEO of Aragon Global Management, moderated by Bloomberg Television anchor Shery Ahn. The event will also include remarks from Miami Bureau Chief Felipe Marques, Photo Editor Amanda Saviñón and New Voices Founder Laura Zelenko.

Since 2018, the Bloomberg New Voices initiative—which sponsors intensive media training for under-represented executives in the finance industry—has helped more than triple the percentage of women who appear as guests on Bloomberg TV and diversified the ethnic and racial mix of our sourcing.  This year marks the third time New Voices is opening applications for senior US Latinx executives of all gender identities in finance.

Join us for an evening of conversation, networking, and refreshments. New Voices guests will have access to PAMM’s Gary Simmons: Public Enemy exhibit.
