Poland’s coalition government took office in December 2023, signalling a commitment to Europe’s Green Energy Transition and boosting the EU27 net-zero ambition efforts. Poland’s 2024 goal is to speed up the country’s energy transformation while ensuring a just transition and keeping electricity prices affordable for consumers.
The event will bring together policy-makers, industry representatives and experts to discuss Poland’s energy and climate policies and strategic priorities during the next EU 2024-2029 mandate and in view of the upcoming Polish EU Council Presidency in 2025.
The keynote address by Secretary of State Bolesta will be followed by a high-level fireside chat moderated by Bloomberg journalist John Ainger and a panel discussion with leading European Climate and Energy experts.
