Please join the Black Professional Community at Bloomberg for the annual Power of Difference event to celebrate the Windrush generation of African Caribbean people who immigrated to the U.K. on the British ship Empire Windrush in 1948.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the first journey of Empire Windrush, which started post-war immigration into the UK and the birth of modern British multicultural society. We are proud to highlight the legacy of a generation of British African-Caribbean people who’ve helped define and shape this nation, as well as those who’ve followed in their footsteps.
Hear our panellists– descendants of the Windrush era– share their experiences and insights on where a multicultural Britain is heading.
