Overview

Feeling unsure or caught off guard in contract negotiations? You’re not alone.

Whether you’re discussing fees, resolving disputes, or protecting your creative rights, negotiation is a critical skill for freelancers — yet it’s rarely taught.

Join us for The Art of Negotiation, a hands-on event co‑hosted by Bloomberg and Pro Bono SG, designed to help you build confidence and practical strategies for navigating contracts.

Moderator Shannon Soon (Bloomberg) will lead a candid discussion with Wang Liansheng (Bih Li & Lee) and Jeremiah Choy (Orangedot Productions), who will share real-world experiences and negotiation insights from the arts sector. Then, test what you’ve learned during a practical workshop facilitated by Bloomberg staff — where you’ll apply skills, exchange perspectives, and gain direct feedback.

This isn’t just theory. You’ll walk away with tips and tactics you can apply immediately in your next negotiation.
