Join the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-Side Network for an insightful discussion with Katie Hall, founder and co-chair of Hall Capital Partners. Founded by Katie in 1993, Hall Capital Partners manages over $40 billion in investment assets for foundations, endowments, and large pools of family capital.
Katie will share her journey of building Hall Capital Partners from the ground up, her decision to successfully transition leadership to her team, and her next bold venture—Galvanize Climate Solutions, with co-founder Tom Steyer. She will also speak about her experience in the philanthropic and non-profit arenas, including her board roles at organizations such as Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, SFMOMA, and UCSF Foundation.
This conversation will be moderated by Pooja Malik, BWBN California Co-Founder, and Founding Partner, Nipun Capital. Together Katie and Pooja will explore the strategies behind growing and sustaining a major investment firm, the challenges of scaling new businesses, and the importance of developing diverse leadership talent. Katie’s mentorship at Hall Capital cultivated a team of strong women leaders, and we’ll delve into her approach to empowering future leaders in the financial industry.
Following the conversation, guests are invited to join a networking reception and will have private access to Fortuna and the Immortality Garden (Machine), a highly acclaimed new exhibition by artist Kara Walker.
